Robert Irwin's Who's Afraid of Red, Yellow, and Blue³, employs colored panels of honeycomb aluminum, both suspended from the ceiling and laid on the gallery floor. Come explore this work of art and then create your own gravity-defying masterpiece using a variety of colors, shapes, and textures.

Children receive FREE museum admission with one paid adult admission up to 4 children per adult.

Families are invited to participate in this 200-year old art form of storytelling in the Hibben Gallery. Visitors will not only have the opportunity to perform in the plays but also help out with sound effects! This fun-filled event will be led by Paper Theater aficionado Scott Paulson.

One of the founders of the West Coast Light and Space Movement, Robert Irwin uses light and orientation to alter the viewer's experience of a space. Join MCASD Education staff for an afternoon full of multi-sensory activities. Enjoy fun and interactive tours of the galleries and discover new ways to interact with artworks.

Are you a teenager interested in art? Come visit out new teen area, “Space 15”. On designated nights, students will have the opportunity to meet other teen artists, sketch characters, and create story boards and flip books. Each of these evenings will have special programs, including animation related projects, and guest speakers such as artists, college professors, and curators.
